“Fabulous dog-friendly cottage in Saundersfoot

We weren’t quite sure what to expect having not stayed before and also with Covid rules making things a little bit different, but everything about Cutters Cottage was lovely. It was so clean, comfortable, warm, spacious and very well equipped; we, and our dog, had such a great time and also thoroughly enjoyed being able to have use of the very pretty garden. The owners, Debbie & Nev, were friendly and welcoming. There was a welcome bottle of wine, milk and welsh cakes, which was a lovely touch! It was great to have our own parking space. The beach and the town centre are a 5 minute walk away and it’s a great base for exploring Pembrokeshire. We would definitely love to visit again in the future.”

Cutters Cottage Reviews

“My wife, small dog and I stayed for 3 nights and had a fabulous stay. We were met by Debbie and Nev who were very friendly and welcoming. They had taken great care to make the cottage Covid safe. Bottle of wine and milk were waiting in the fridge. The cottage is clean and cosy with a beautiful garden area. Location is a 5 min walk to Saundersfoot town and a shorter walk to nearby Glen beach. We will definitely stay here again.”

“Very nice indeed. First impression on opening the door was a very pleasant surprise.A fully equipped kitchen with a welcoming bottle of wine in the fridge, much welcome after battling the traffic on the M4 was a lovely touch. The bedrooms and sitting room were spotlessly clean and comfortable. Saundersfoot is a lovely spot with good eateries and pubs and the area is delightful and a must see for castle enthusiasts. One warning, the hill into town is STEEP! Debbie and Nev were most welcoming and on hand next door if needed. Thoroughly recommended.”

“A gorgeous, comfortable cottage in Saundersfoot. I stayed with my partner and 2 children and never did we feel cramped. The kitchen had all the amenities you could need, in fact my other half keeps going on how we need to buy new non stick oven trays and a new wok as the utilities were so good! Plenty of towels and bed linen and comfy beds. The second bedroom could easily have slept 3 without any problems and there was more than enough room in the master if a carry cot had been needed. Good Internet signal for the area and there was a well stocked dvd and games cabinet as well as access to games in the garden. I simply cannot fault Debbie and Nev as hosts who were always happy to help. Would I stay here again? In fact this was our second stay at cutters cottage, and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. Highly recommended.”

“The cottage was absolutely gorgeous. It was very clean and specious. The hosts Debbie and Nev. had gone out if their way to make it COVID friendly. We stayed for two weeks. A welcoming bottle of wine and milk were awaiting us in the fridge. I was visiting with my sister and her guide dog. The cottage has everything you could possibly want and the garden is a little sun trap and an oasis in which to sit. Glen beach is 5 minutes away and the town down a steep hill. I would recommend this highly and would definitely stay there again.”

“What a lovely place to stay…This was a surprise break for my husband and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.Debbie and Nev are very good hosts. The cottage is perfect, everything you could wish for and was very clean and full of character. The shower is heaven!!! After a walking day with our 2 dogs. The cottage is ideally positioned opposite The Glen which is a five minute walk to the beach. Perfect! Would highly recommend. Thank you for a…peaceful, relaxing comfortable stay.”

“What a lovely cottage! This place is at the side of the bed & breakfast it looks small from the front but once inside its a tardis its big as it is a converted barn/stable. The hosts are friendly and leave you to it. There was everything that you needed including washing up liquid cling film cloths, towels etc. We even had wine and welsh cakes ! The only thing i found hard was the steps between the kitchen and living area. The dog friendly beach is only a 5 minute walk. I would stay here again for definite.”

“We managed to secure a place at the Cottage at short notice and we are so glad we did. We received a genuinely warm welcome from Debbie and Nev who couldn’t do enough for us. We had stayed in the B&B twice before and this was the first time in the cottage, with our two black labs. Once again, we weren’t disappointed – It was spotlessly clean and wonderfully cosy. There were plenty of sensible COVID measures in place and we felt safe, comfortable and at home. It is the perfect location to holiday with dogs and our two were very happy there. We know the area well and it is the ideal location to rest in between exploring the many stunning local areas and beaches. A superb break in an absolutely first class cottage run by hosts who clearly care greatly about their guests. We would highly recommend this accommodation without hesitation – a superb stay. Thank you both for making us so welcome, we will be back!!”

“We had a lovely stay and were welcomed by the owners who could not do enough for us. The cottage had a lovely peaceful dog friendly garden, comfortable and spacious cottage interior with a short walk to beach and village. It’s the perfect holiday haven and we had the most relaxing and lovely week thank you so much.”

“I stayed in September with my parents and dog and this was such a find. It’s located within a 5 minute slow walk into town and like it says just by a dog beach. You cross the street and walk down a lane and you’re at a dog friendly beach. The house is well stocked with amenities and the owner is lovely and helpful but never bothered us unless we needed anything. We were surprised with welcome treats when we arrived which was lovely. The house had everything we needed and the garden was lovely to sit out in. I’d recommend this cottage to stay in and a trip to Saundersfoot”
